Quality medical care, housing, nutrition, and rehabilitation for injured and orphaned wildlife, with the ultimate goal of releasing a healthy, adjusted animal back into the wild where it belongs.
As evidenced in our end of year records, we meet or exceed the average success rate for release.
We also have a greater than 95% success rate for bears and mountain lions.

Providing educational classes on wildlife, the environment, and bees to any and all, including public and private schools, scouts, 4-H and other clubs, colleges, and adult groups. Our educational classes include a classroom equipped with microscopes, skeletons, pelts, and many other educational tools. We also maintain resident wildlife that had been illegally kept as pets that are used in education.
Many of the groups that come to our educational programs come back every year.
We are seeing an increase in the number of requests for programs, with many new groups.
We occasionally run into an adult who remembers taking one of our classes as a child, and they still remember much of what they learned!
