My requests for medical drives are readily resolved. The folks at the coalition are most respectful and helpful. Additionally the service providers are responsible and helpful.

J.P
We get to go shopping and to the Doctor with no problem. The Drivers are very courteous and helpful.
[Without this service] We would not be able to stay in our home and community. We would not be able to visit with others and go to lunch.

G.M
We go shopping and to the bank, post office. We have transportation to our Doctors. Our drivers are very courteous. Today we remarked on how well we get along together laughing and discussing the world and getting away from home.

I want to thank you for providing assistance to us to have our chimney and wood burning stove cleaned and inspected through the Chore program offered through the P.C.S.C.
Thank you for all the assistance you provide to the seniors in Park County to make our retirement time more comfortable and secure.

J.L
Thank you very much for accepting us for the chimney sweep program. We really appreciate it. It is good to know it is done now for next winter.

Disabled, General or Disability unspecified
Ethnic/Racial Minorities - General
Poor/Economically Disadvantaged/Indigent

Description

All Park County seniors are "geographically isolated" with no local congregate meal centers and no other meal delivery programs. One grocery store operates in a county that is as large as some states! Meals offered by community centers within the county offer meals one day a week or one meal per month. Hot meal delivery is not practical in a sparsely populated large county. The RAMP program allows area seniors to have the benefits of meal delivery and the convenience of pre-made meals available at their leisure.

I would have to spend more money on gas to go shopping more often and also the cost of food. Also the delivery volunteer is a real sweetie.

S.R
This has been a great help to me. It is so nice to see the volunteer when she delivers my food. It makes my day she is so sweet and positive. Thanks to everyone involved in this great program.

B.B
My husband and I have been able to stay in our home so far, as well as the community. With leap and food delivered to us you have made things easier for us and I thank you for that.

D.M
There is not a grocery store within 20 miles. The cost of food and gas is so high this program saves me time and money, and assures me of a hot meal. I love the volunteer and all you people that help me out. Thank you to everyone

Dear senior coalition,
The boxes of dry food snacks have helped me so much. I find I eat more balanced meals and smaller amounts with the dry food and canned. It also helps me greatly on my expenses which are difficult to keep up with on my limited retirement. Thank you for all your work.
