Let's solve the pet overpopulation problem at its root! Trap/Neuter/Return (TNR) of feral cats humanely reduces the number of cats killed in our local shelters, effectively and inexpensively. Warehousing animals is not efficient or humane.
Each year, our hard work reduce the number of unwanted litters from being surrendered to local shelters. The cats that we TNR, go on to live longer, healthy lives because they are no longer having multiple litters every year, fighting and wandering. This work is both life-altering and life-saving for these cats.

Northern Colorado friends of Ferals is committed to bettering the lives of community cats and reducing euthanasia in our shelters through trap, neuter and return, finding homes for kittens and treating cats with medical needs.
Northern Colorado Friends of Ferals was founded in February 2009 by Leslie Vogt and Jan Link. As of November 2023, the organization has altered almost 15,000 cats, and found homes for 3500 cats and kittens. Additionally we have been able to provide veterinary care for any cats we trap. All this has been done with volunteers. Our aim is to serve rural and low economic areas in Northern Colorado that have few resources and many reproducing cats.
