Both Larimer and Weld County have reduced cat intake and euthanasia numbers in the past 5 years by a significant percentage.

NCFF founders received the Everyday Hero Award in 2014 from Channel 7 News; was awarded a grant for a new transport van by Animal Assistance Foundation in 2013; received a large municipal grant from the City of Sterling to address the cat population issue

Description

There is a great need for veterinary care assistance for pet owners and colony caretakers in lower socioeconomic brackets. Animals are often surrendered to shelters because their owners can not afford veterinary care. NCFF is addressing this need in northern Colorado.
