In October of 2012, I started seeing Dr. Henderson and in 2013 I started transcranial near-infrared light therapy (NILT). This changed my life! The NILT seemed to repair so much of what was not working in my brain. NILT alleviated my depression and I found true happiness again. My anger quickly changed to kindness and joy. I was no longer anxious and "calm" became my normal. I came out of the fog. I did approximately 20 sessions throughout 2013 and because of the positive effects of this therapy I gained custody back of my children in January of 2014. To the surprise of everyone around me, I was the best mother I had ever been. I had patience and my children experienced a mother they had never seen before. I finally had the family I dreamed about. We were all finally happy. My children deserved to have a mother that would love them, that would treat them with respect and not become irate towards them every day, and they finally had the mother that they deserved. If it were not for the NILT I would never have gained custody back of my children. If it wasn't for NILT, I could not be the kind of mother that my children ought to have. I will forever be thankful that I received the NILT because it changed my life, but more importantly it changed my children's lives because they deserved the person I am today.

The Neuro-Laser Foundation is committed to the treatment of traumatic brain injury (TBI) and concussion utilizing a unique, high-powered, multi-Watt near-infrared light (NILT) to catalyze the brain's own intrinsic repair processes. Its mission is to subsidize the treatment of Veterans and First-Responders, such as police and firefighters, while funding the further clinical study of its revolutionary new treatment. Treatment is provided to all those who suffer from TBI or concussion regardless of age, gender, race, religious beliefs, or sexual orientation.
Background Statement
The Neuro-Laser Foundation was established in 2012 by Drs. Larry Morries and Theodore Henderson. These two Colorado doctors recognized they had developed something remarkable - a treatment for traumatic brain injury (TBI) that actually made a difference! The Foundation initially devoted its efforts to researching the technique. The first two products of this self-funded research was published in 2015. These initially two research articles have been cited by other scientists over 30 times in less than 18 months. The Foundation has collaborative research studies ongoing with Harvard/Massachusetts General and elsewhere.
Over the last two years, the Foundation has expanded its efforts to providing subsidized treatment to Veterans and First-Responders who suffer from TBI. The Foundation established a GoFundMe page and through this and other fund-raising activities has been able to treat Veterans and First-Responders who otherwise would not be able to get care.
The Foundation held its Inaugural TBI Gala this April 2017.
