It brings a smile to my face to see the increased number of attendees over the years for such a well organized series of live music. Background Statement
Montrose Summer Music Series began towards the end of May of 2015 with four random date free concerts spread over the summer. Crowds grew at every succeeding show. Community response told us we were providing a much desired event. As MSMS looked to the future we realized there's something t be said for consistency and changed the dates to the first Friday June through September. Now in our sixth year after being shutout in 2020 by Covid our crowds continue to grow. In a very short time Montrose Summer Music Series has grown from a crazy idea to a community tradition.
