Megan & Dennis' Fundraiser

For Megan's birthday one year, Dennis surprised her with a visit to the Wild Animal Sanctuary in rural Keenesburg, CO. We were both so impressed by the experience, it's stayed with us since then. We even got to take some great photos, including the picture above of the tiger! Their mission is to rescue and provide life-long homes for large, exotic and endangered wild animals and to educate the public about the causes of and solutions to the world's captive wildlife crisis. They are largest and oldest sanctuary of their kind in the world. The Wild Animal Sanctuary recently purchased a 9000 acre plot of land in southern Colorado. Each acre cost $777, so our fundraising goal is to help purchase 1 acre of land where they can expand their ability to provide homes for animals removed from captive environments.
