We are an all volunteer search and rescue organization working with local law enforcement and fire agencies to serve anyone that is in need of emergency or non emergency help with swift water, dive and ice rescues, ground searches, rope rescues, traffic & crowd control, and law enforcement support.

Description

LEU is a mutual aid response organization that works closely with law enforcement, fire and EMS in Boulder County. LEU assists with traffic control for accidents, crime scenes, disasters, major events, and crowd control. We provide medical support at accident scenes, bicycle patrols at crowd events, standby medical support for school district athletic events, assistance with vehicle extrication at accident scenes, portable lighting for night emergency scenes,, breathing air support with a cascade unit for divers as well as for fire and Haz-Mat scenes, high and low rope rescue, and we provide a weekend duty crew for the City of Longmont.
