Thompson Valley Art League

The Thompson Valley Art League is an art league that owns and operates the Lincoln Gallery. In order to continue to keep the doors open we need sponsorship from community members. This enables us to mentor young artists, run Art in the Park, and present the Regional & National Fine Art Show.

Evidence of Program's Success

We offer monthly classes in the gallery ranging from painting wine glasses to learning how to paint portraits of pets. Our wine painting classes range from ladies who lunch, the demographic is 60-80, and bridal shows, the demographic is women in their 20's to 40's. Our smallest class was a 5 person class and our largest was a class of 24 women.

The pet portrait classes are often composed for young families with small children and retired individuals. Coloradoans treat pets like family members. We often get to hear about what their pets where like while they were alive, their favorite memory, or the silly everyday moments of their beloved pets. In the pet portrait classes' people connect with one another and often form lasting relationships.
