Description

Every year, we have a Christmas party for the children in the Head Start program at our local school, the Center. The teachers find out ahead of time just what is on each child's Christmas list. Immediately after Thanksgiving, the teachers do the shopping & wrapping. In December, Santa comes to the party, calls each child forward and gives them each a wrapped gift---just what they were asking Santa for. Representatives from the Police and Fire Department are there to assist Santa. For many of these children, it may be their whole Christmas.
