InteGreat! doesn't fit into any box. It is not a project or a program; it is not a traditional nonprofit or a start-up business. InteGreat! is a collective impact initiative driven by our Eagle County community: the parent, the child, the student, the worker, the business, the nonprofit director, the teacher, the native Spanish speaker, and the Colorado home-grown. We all want all our children to be successful. To make that happen, we must engage families, share knowledge, align systems and resources, and increase access to quality opportunities.

InteGreat! mission is to create a community system that effectively supports the health and learning of all our children. Through collective impact, our multi-sector collaboration intends to dismantle the frustrating and often costly maze that families must navigate to access basic services, safe housing, and economic opportunity. Collectively we can encourage and propel larger, systemic and social change that none of us can tackle alone.

Our funding not only stems from local and state foundations, but also from alignment of funds from various partners. This year, partners contributed more than $180,000 of in-kind resources to related projects. Here are summaries of our ongoing projects:

Summer Lunch provides relief for families struggling to put food on the table, while also increasing access to fresh food through the federal Summer Food Service Program (SFSP). In 2016, InteGreat! worked with partners to provide 15,430 meals at 9 sites, spanning over fifty miles from Red Cliff to Gypsum.

Neighborhood Navigators are unique individuals are community-identified leaders empowering their neighborhoods with the support of a multi-sector network. Navigators both identify community needs and grow a basic knowledge of community assets, with two specific goals of connecting their neighbors to resources and positioning themselves to become facilitators of action for community-driven needs.

Support for Young Adults is one of four InteGreat! strategies. We engage young people in community initiatives, identifying and expanding opportunities for internships. We also partner with AmeriCorps to accomplish larger initiatives that serve to unite the community and place a lens on the power of youth. In 2016, InteGreat hosted its first National Civilian Community Corps (NCCC) and Volunteer in Service to America (VISTA) member. The NCCC team, comprised of ten youth from around the country, worked on projects involving over 12 local agencies.

The Eagle County Data Dashboard (ECDD) aims to develop a county wide dashboard of shared measures, creating a space not only to share data across organizations, but also to collaboratively track longitudinal data. The four-phase project will align 100 non-profit, government, and private entities in a collective effort to move inputs to outcomes and build a community system that effectively supports health and learning for all children and families.
