A School Where You Can - Imagine the Amazing!
Humanex Academy is a small, intentionally designed middle and high school in Englewood, CO, serving students who learn differently.
Our learners are bright, creative, and capable - but too often, they have been misunderstood or overlooked in traditional settings. At Humanex, difference is in the design! We provide a safe, affirming environment that helps students build confidence, independence, and purpose. Each student receives personalized academic support, in-th-moment social-emotional coaching, and embedded executive functioning supports that build self-advocacy beyond school. Every student is known, supported, and equipped to launch into life with real tools, real relationships, and real hope.
Humanex is more than a school - it is a model for what education can be when we design for the whole human. We offer a sustainable model for reimagining education - one that proves every mind can thrive when environments are built for difference.

Mission
Our mission is to support neurodivergent 6-12 grade students looking for a safe and supportive community where they can celebrate their strengths and uniqueness, while stepping away from a deficit focused approach. What all our students have in common is the need for a place to be around peers who are like themselves. This allows for both academic and social interactions where it is safe to make mistakes and where conflict, disagreement, and resolution, are possible with embedded adult coaching. At Humanex, we focus on students’ strengths, the need to maintain momentum in areas of success, and the importance of maintaining a safe space for them to approach areas of challenge.
