Happy Dog Ranch believes it's a privilege for us to spend our days providing a haven for all the animals that live here, and we want to create the same haven for all that drive through our gates - whether it's a visiting school/group, or someone attending a class/clinic, or even a volunteer.

Youth/Adolescents only (14 - 19 years)
Volunteer programming for Autistic children and teens, as well as special needs adults and at-risk youth, who need a place to practice social skills and basic job training. Groups help us with our small animal work (we have goats, alpacas, a pig and a mini-steer), groom and walk horses, and muck stalls and pens.
For 2016-2017, we serve groups/schools from Joshua School, Lyon's Country Pride/Outliving, Garden Colorado, Littleton Public Schools, Douglas County Schools, 4 Our Kids and Serenity.
Several of our Transitions volunteers have become seasonal ranch hands,with a paid salary.
