Some nonprofits in our community
  • Grand County Search and Rescue
GCSAR is made up of volunteers with one goal- helping lost or injured people in our mountains/rivers, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. GCSAR does not charge for any services. Your financial gift will go directly towards much needed equipment upgrades, mission expenses, gear, and training expenses.
  • Grand Beginnings
The vision of Grand Beginnings is that Grand County is a community that values the health and development of young children, their families, and the professionals who work in early childhood.
  • Middle Park Medical Foundation
We are a small rural foundation with 25-years of 100% volunteer-run local community impact on healthcare sustainability. We have an enhanced vision for our local philanthropic role, which has fostered big aspirations and greater need from donors to make local healthcare sustainability a reality. Please help us solidify our infrastructure so we can lead a capital campaign for our hospital within the next few years.
  • Grand Lake Area Historical Society
The challenging project for GLAHS at present is the development of the Cottage Camp, to be a unique museum site interpreting the impact of the automobile on the West. The centerpiece will be the Smith Eslick Cottage Court, the earliest original condition "motor court" in existence. With your support and partially funded by a grant from History Colorado - State Historical Fund, the Cottage Court is now completely restored, and is listed on both the CO State Register of Historic Properties and National Register of Historic Places. The next phase for the project is essential - fabrication and installation of exhibits at the site. So many stories to tell, so much history to share! We want to accomplish a lot in the coming year. And your support is vital!
