The purpose of GCHA is to educate the general public about the unique heritage of Grand County. GCHA runs 4 museums to educate, preserve, collect & store archives, photos & artifacts from the county. GCHA utilizes its resources to embrace and promote all heritage museums and organizations in Grand County. The GCHA committee is the Heritage Coalition. Activities include an enhanced website, new outdoor, educational signage & a free map for the general pubic that includes all heritage organizations. The recent books, Go Grand: Seven Tours through Grand County History, and A to Z Grand County provide new information in new color formats on countywide history. Third-party vendors charge credit card and electronic check processing fees when you make an online donation. Two percent of each donation helps to cover these fees and ensures the program's long-term sustainability. The two percent processing fee is one of the lowest processing fees in the country.
You will automatically receive an on-screen acknowledgement letter and an e-mailed copy for your donation. Every donation is tax deductible as a charitable contribution to the full extent permitted by law. If you make a donation to a charity that offers Child Care or Enterprise Zone credits (additional Colorado state tax credits), Community First Foundation will acknowledge that your donation was processed successfully, but the charity will issue you an additional receipt pursuant to that. To learn more about these tax credits, contact the specific nonprofits.
Thank you for Donating through ColoradoGives.org: ColoradoGives.org partners with local nonprofits to facilitate online giving. Nonprofits trust us to process their online donations because of our low processing fees, security and other great things. We do this because we're a nonprofit, too!
