Testimonials

"Kids spend their time in a positive way here, and so they stay away from the negatives out there. Sports are a great way to build character in kids." - Former Colorado Governor Bill Ritter

"It's been a pleasure to watch this corner and part of the community become a dynamic place for youth and the entire neighborhood. It's been a great partnership between Gold Crown, the school district, many private organizations and the City." - Former Lakewood Mayor Bob Murphy

"Anytime a Foundation, a community and a City can come together to say, 'We believe in you. We believe you can be an athlete, you can be on computers, you can be an artist, but believe in yourself.' I think that's how we have benefited from the partnership - we help kids believe in themselves." Former Jefferson County Schools Superintendent Cindy Stevenson

"Being here gave me the opportunity to figure out what I wanted to do with my life, what I wanted to be. It taught me the steps of what I needed to do to get there." LaJay Diamond, Gold Crown Computer Clubhouse member
