The beautiful 1898 former First Baptist Church of Florence is now the Bell Tower Cultural Center. It is home to the Florence Arts Council, which sponsors public art, classes for adults and children, gallery shows, concerts, and provides a space for community events.

Mission

Mission:The purpose of this organization is to foster awareness and interest in the many facets of the arts among youth and adults by inspiring, educating and engaging the community, by supporting and encouraging artists of all media and ability and by utilizing art to enhance and enrich the quality of life in Fremont County.

Background Statement

The Florence Arts Council was formed at a local coffee shop in 2004. In 2012 it received its 501(c)3 status and in 2013 it was given the 1898 First Baptist Church of Florence, now the Bell Tower Cultural Center.
