Family Tree was established in 1976 and today serves the seven-county Denver metro area, partnering with all people to prevent and overcome the interconnected issues of child abuse, domestic violence, and homelessness to promote safety, healing, and stability across generations.
Family Tree is the only organization in the area responding to the interconnectedness of these key issues with an integrated services approach. Last fiscal year, Family Tree provided direct, in-person services to 6,528 clients and connected an additional 12,426 people to critical resources through crisis and helpline calls.
Family Tree serves individuals and families experiencing poverty, trauma, and crisis. The majority of our clients are female-headed single-caregiver households (76%), adults between ages of 26-45 (57%), and people with annual incomes under $20,000 (59%) at intake.
