Mission Statement

Fairview Band Boosters Organization mission is to provide financial and logistical support to the Fairview High School band not provided by the school district. The organization is comprised of parents, students, faculty, and community members dedicated to assisting the band.

Organization History

Founded in 1960, Fairview High School in Boulder, Colorado offers access to high quality musical instruction and opportunities. Due to the high cost of delivering an exceptional quality education and the scarcity of funding resources, many schools have had to cut back on the types and quality of music programs that they offer to their students. The Fairview Band Booster Organization was established in 1998 to ensure that the Fairview High School band program has the resources necessary to maintain the high quality of instruction and opportunities it has provided to students over the years. FBBO was originally registered with the Colorado Secretary of State's office in May 2008 and has maintained its good standing in the state as a charitable organization.
The Fairview Band Boosters Organization continues to develop an infrastructure of fundraising opportunities to ensure that all students interested in participating in the band program have the means to participate. Fundraising opportunities include sales of Fairview Marching Knights apparel (available at , a giant community garage sale (in non-COVID-19 years) and Western Slope fruit sales in August, volunteering for the Bolder Boulder 10K, an annual Evening of Jazz Concert and silent auction in the month of February or March and indoor/outdoor concession sales.
