Testimonials

To the Employees and Staff of Eben Ezer Lutheran Care Center

I want to thank you for the wonderful, loving care that has been given to my family in the past and the present. My father, my mother's second husband and now my mother have been in the facility. The care given each member of my family has been one of caring that they have a dignified, loved life. Whenever I have visited my family the facility is clean, the patients are well taken care of and if I have asked for something to be taken care of it has been.

I am very pleased and am able to leave with the knowledge that I do not have to worry that my mother will be taken care of while I am not there. Thank you, Thank you and another Thank you will not be able to thank you enough. Also thank you for the support that the families receive. God Bless each and every one of you for your service.

Sincerely,

Sue McCaffrey

Having spent my life as a pastor, some thirty-seven years of active ministry, I have visited many care facilities throughout Colorado and particularly the Denver area. I have also spent more than twelve years as a board member of Eben Ezer Lutheran Care Center in Brush, Colorado.

In all this period of time I have not come across a more caring and loving institution for those who have found need to reside in a facility than Eben Ezer. From the professional staff of nurses to the cleaning staff, I can say that these folks at Eben Ezer stand out as an exceptionally dedicated not only to their positions at Eben Ezer, but also to making life more livable from day to day in a home like setting for the residents of this care facility.

I would not hesitate to recommend Eben Ezer Lutheran Care Center to you for the love and care of dear ones who are in need of such a facility.

"When it was time for the type of skilled care and equipment required for our parents' daily needs, Eben Ezer surpassed our expectations.  Residents are addressed on a first name basis by all staff members, thus making them feel recognized and appreciated.  Staff lends great support to family members as they make difficult decisions.  Our family has been pleased with the care Eben Ezer has provided for both our parents."

When looking at communities for our parents, when it became obvious they could not stay in their own home anymore, Eben Ezer stood out. Our parents knew people that lived at Eben Ezer and it was someplace they were willing to go.  It is comforting to know that anytime I hear of a problem my Mother is experiencing, it is being dealt with before I even hear of it.  And it is being dealt with by someone more qualified than me. -

Mission

Our mission as a progressive, faith-based community is to provide person-centered care and to support the well-being and growth of those we serve.

Background Statement

In an industry dominated by large corporations, Eben Ezer Lutheran Care Center stands alone as an independent not-for-profit, faith-based community.

We are affiliated with the Rocky Mountain Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. As a non-profit community, Eben Ezer provides programs and services regardless of pay source and does not limit the number of persons receiving Medicaid benefits. Yet, a significant deficit exists between the cost of services and Medicaid reimbursement rates. In April of 1987, the Eben Ezer Lutheran Care Center Foundation was established to help secure a firm financial base for our organization amidst inadequate and unreliable compensation from the public sector.

Over the years, gifts to the Foundation have provided support for programs, the campus, equipment and scholarships that make Eben Ezer an outstanding place to live and work. Eben Ezer is a Hebrew phrase meaning "stone of help", a name that well describes our mission. We work from a strong foundation of faith-based service to provide multi-level care for older adults and others in need. Because we are a charitable non-profit organization, our ongoing tradition of high-quality care has been possible only through the generous support of individuals like you. Eben Ezer has been a "stone of help" to countless people throughout more than a century of service. We ask for your continued support for our ministry. Eben Ezer, where life happens!
