Denver Seminary

Background Statement

Tonight, a pastor will sit with a family through the hardest week of their lives. Across town, a counselor will help someone take the next step toward healing. Behind each of them is a calling, and preparation equal to its weight. That is the work of Denver Seminary.

Grounded in the hope of the resurrection, our faculty walk alongside men and women as God shapes them into faithful, courageous, and intelligent leaders. Students learn with us in Littleton, in Washington DC, and online. From there they serve in churches, counseling practices, hospitals, and neighborhoods across Colorado and around the world.

Many arrive unsure they belong here. One student remembers asking, “Who am I to teach or speak about the Word of God?” She now leads a women’s ministry team of twenty-four serving thousands of people each week.

The truest measure of this work is the flourishing of the churches our graduates serve.

A gift to Denver Seminary prepares one leader and, through that leader, reaches many more. A pastor in our Doctor of Ministry program said it simply: “There are things I’m picking up now that I’ll end up giving to other leaders.” Your support travels far beyond Littleton, into every congregation, counseling practice, and community our graduates go on to serve.

Give today, and help prepare the leaders the church will rely on for years to come.
