The Denver Waldorf School (DWS) has many needs to support our scholarship programs for children of all ages to attend our independent school established in 1974. Currently we have seven different named scholarships that our 349 students can receive support from that are either merit or needs-based scholarships. More than 133 students 29% of our students received some form of tuition assistance during the 2018-2019 school year.
All donations to the scholarship program help support families to attend DWS.
In 2019-2020 impact from donations to this fund helped 22 students of color attend DWS.
Evidence of this program success includes a high enrollment rate, a high percentage of participation in annual giving and the retention of students and faculty.
We interdependently hire outside unaffiliated evaluators to look at our progress and success.

The Denver Waldorf School (DWS) needs to improve its facility in three key ways with upgrades for safety, aesthetics and practical changes to enhance our programs.
Your capital campaign donation enables the School to move forward with major facility staples such as upgrades to our electrical panels, improving accessibility, providing better air quality and lighting and a more comfortable environment for our teachers and students.
Evidence of this program success includes documentation from the Buildings and Grounds Committee, the completed Campus Master Plan 2018.
The Buildings and Grounds Committee along with the Glam Squad continue to work in tandem to better our campus each year. This past year saw the completion of several facility fixes including asbestos abatement, new LED lighting for our gymnasium and outside campus, and the completion of the playgrounds to support both ECE, Kindergartens and Grades playfield activities.
