Last September, the president announced that DACA would expire on March 5, 2018. At times, it's appeared that Congress would take action to permanently protect Dreamers before this deadline. Alas, the day has come with no solution. However, since two federal judges have blocked the rescinding of DACA, renewals are currently being accepted. We are working with JAMLAC (Justice & Mercy Legal Aid Clinic) who is providing free legal services for Dreamers eligible to renew. They tell us when they have a client who can apply but can't gather the $495 for the renewal fee. We will update our goal here each time we learn of a Dreamer we can help protect!
