Our mission is to help families and individuals in need, residing in Teller County and the Ute Pass area, by supplying them with five to seven days of emergency food when no means of support are available. Offering a hand up, one person at a time.
The Community Cupboard was founded in 1978 by individuals from the local faith community. Food was donated and stored for distribution to families and individuals. As time went on and needs in the community increased, we became a 501 (c) (3) non-profit agency in 1987.
I can't explain enough how much the Community Cupboard has helped me and my family. When our funds are low and we need help they are so helpful in every-way and polite! I love the Cupboard and so does my family. Thank you so.....Much! ~Crystal Hickman

I moved to Woodland Park in November, right around Thanksgiving and my food stamps were gone! We were thinking about not have Thanksgiving. I asked around and was pointed to the Cupboard. They helped us so much! We ended up having an amazing Thanksgiving with great neighbors. It's March and we still come here :) ~ Ashley S.
