Your Opportunity to Double the Impact
$20,000 Raised
In Colorado, 90% of living wage jobs require post secondary education. For nearly 50 years, CWEF has been closing that gap—one scholarship at a time.
“Your scholarship has been instrumental in my journey back to college as an adult learner. As a single mother of three, balancing school, work, and family responsibilities can be challenging. Your scholarship has not only provided financial relief but has also given me the mental and emotional support I need to succeed. I'm so grateful that my children are witnessing me pursue my dreams. Your scholarship has made it possible for me to set a positive example for my family and achieve something I never thought I could.” - Angela
“There was a phase in my life where I could not keep a job, I was homeless, didn’t know anything about finance and didn’t finish anything I started. But here I am today, a graduate with my Bachelor's in Social Work. This donation has made my journey easier and affected not just my financial burden but this donation has also increased my faith.” - Ishamina
“We often struggle to ask for help because we don’t want to burden others. When great people offer help to those in need it touches my heart to the amount of compassion and generosity that is shared. I’m a non-traditional student, who chose to attend college after being out for over twenty years. I wanted to show my adopted children that I want a better life for all of us. I want to lead by example, not just be words of encouragement along their journey. Again, I want to thank you for the generous scholarship.” - Julie
We stand steadfast with women over 25 pursuing their educational ambitions, breaking down barriers through scholarships, programs, and community connections.
For nearly 50 years, the Colorado Women’s Education Foundation (CWEF) has invested in the power of women’s education—providing scholarships that help women over 25 return to school, build economic stability, and pursue new futures for themselves and their families.
As our scholars’ needs evolve, so does our mission. We are expanding beyond scholarships to ensure women are supported not only to access education, but to thrive through it. CWEF now delivers programs that strengthen confidence and career readiness, build vital life and financial skills, and create meaningful connections that open doors to opportunity. Because success does not happen alone—community matters.
This year’s Colorado Gives Day campaign, Power in Education, Strength in Connection, reflects this bold evolution. Education unlocks a woman’s potential—her voice, her future. But connection provides the strength to continue the journey. Together, they create unstoppable change.
Every scholar’s story begins with courage, and it grows through the relationships that sustain her: mentors who guide, donors who believe, partners who open pathways, and peers who lift one another up. When you invest in CWEF, you invest in a powerful network of support that transforms lives—and strengthens communities for generations.
Join us. Fuel her education. Fortify her connections. Ignite her future.
