Mission Statement

Colorado Saint Bernard Rescue(CSBR) is a 501c3 non-profit, all-volunteer organization dedicated to the rehoming of unwanted, neglected, abandoned and abused St. Bernards and St. Bernard mixes.

Organization History

The Colorado Saint Bernard Rescue was started in 1998 by Nina Washington to save the Saint Bernards that were in shelters. At that time, the shelters would euthanize dogs within a few days. Nina reached out to animal lovers to help volunteer and/or foster. Since that time, CSBR has adopted over 600 Saint Bernards into loving homes.

Testimonials

Hi CSBR, just wanted you to know that Dakar is doing great! He is such a good dog, very obedient, very house broken, and such a loving boy.He is afraid of thunder so I got him a Thundershirt which helps a lot.Loves to sleep on the couch, but beside my bed at night. Still pulls some even with a head collar so I usually take him out to the Fairgrounds to walk him as there a less distractions. He loves to ride in the car, he would rather do that then go for a walk. He is such a good companion usually follows me from room to room. Thank CSBR for letting me adopt him. If I only had a bigger yard I would love to adopt another one. Thanks again, Lynn

Otis is very much a part of the family. He is wonderful with both our kids as well as our nieces and nephews. He migrates from room to room at night making sure the boys are safe and sound in bed. We are finding drool in places we don't expect (ceiling, drawers, clothes). Thank you, the Stuber family
