Afterschool programs support Colorado's working families, keep students safe, and inspire them to learn. These programs provide rich learning experiences for students, narrow existing opportunity and achievement gaps, and position students towards a bright future as they move through school, career and life. In Colorado, for every youth enrolled in afterschool program, there are two waiting to get in. 146,856 school-age children are alone and unsupervised during the hours after school.

Colorado Afterschool Partnership (CAP) is a statewide network that focuses on policy and partnership development that advance afterschool and summer programs in Colorado. CAP provides professional development and quality resources to the field and opportunities for programs across the state to build a strong out of school time community. Additionally, CAP is part of a 50-state afterschool network which allows CAP to bring valuable national resources to Colorado.

A donation to CAP supports the growth of statewide partnerships that improve outcomes for all children and youth through expanded learning opportunities found in afterschool and summer programs.

A donation of $25 assists in providing quality professional development for afterschool providers. A donation of $50 supports "Coffee with CAP" an educational and networking opportunity to providers across Colorado.

Colorado Afterschool Partnership is a Project of the Colorado Nonprofit Development Center.
