Mission Statement

Our Mission:

The mission of the Coal Creek Adult Education Center is to provide high quality, professional, and affordable educational opportunities for motivated adults.

Vision Statement:

The Coal Creek Adult Education Center is a vital resource for our community and meets the educational needs of every motivated adult wanting to advance their education. Our high quality and professional classes empower our students to obtain their High School Equivalency, improve their basic skills, learn English, and become lifelong learners.

Value Statements:

-We have high expectations of our instructors, staff, and students.
-We have professional instructors and high quality classes.
-We strive to create empowered and motivated students.
-We are good stewards of our resources.
-Our organization is a positive member of the community.

Organization History

In response to a discontinuation of English as a Second Language and High School Equivalency preparation services at the local community college, Coal Creek Adult Education Center began operations in August 2014. This discontinuation of classes greatly reduced the level of high quality classes available in the Denver Metro North area, specifically Thornton, Northglenn, Federal Heights, Westminster, Broomfield and north Denver. Our mission and value statements reflect our desire to continue to offer high quality and affordable classes to adults in our service area.
