I received a flyer in the mail. My oldest daughter wasn't yet school aged, but I held onto the flyer. I was intrigued by the idea of a charter school (I wasn't familiar with them before). I loved that there was an alternative to the public schools and I loved the fact that the kids wore uniforms. :) I honestly didn't know too much about the school when we enrolled. I first met with the preschool teachers and liked what I saw and just went with my gut. When my daughter cried when I came to pick her up after her first day of preschool (because she didn't want to leave!), I knew I had made the right choice. We just moved from Fort Collins and initially I had my kids in Erie Middle and Legacy Elementary. On the third day of school, I happened to call CVA to get information because something just wasn't right with the other schools. After Mr. Tony showed me around, very patiently, answering any and all questions I had, my gut seemed to relax because I felt "home".
