Keep Families Together

I value keeping families together because no family deserves to be separated. Growing up, I witnessed the separation of family, friends, and other loved ones. As a little girl, I would have nightmares about my parents or other family members being taken away from me (or me being taken away from them). Our parents are dreamers too. They deserve to be treated with dignity and respect. In 2020, CIRC will continue advocating for state and federal policies that would promote keeping immigrant families together and will continue to do on-the-ground deportation defense work across Colorado.
