CFOOTMAD 's events are, in part, funded by the generous donations from dancers and musicians. Many of our dancers celebrate significant events in their lives by sponsoring special events. The support of our community helps keep our events affordable for all.
CFOOTMAD presents great, high energy dances throughout the Denver metro area. Our dances are very welcoming to newcomers - virtually all of our events have lessons in advance. You don't need a partner - everyone dances with everyone. Come join us!

CFOOTMAD promotes the evolving traditions of American music and dance. CFOOTMAD is an open and inclusive community that welcomes all to participate in and enjoy our events.
CFOOTMAD was formed by a group of musicians and dancers who wanted to maintain the tradition of barn and community dances in the Denver metro area. Our contra dances typically include primarily contra dances, with the occasional square or circle dance, together with two or three waltzes or hambos. Over the past 30 years, CFOOTMAD's offerings have expanded to four regular dance series run throughout the metro area, and bi-monthly musician jams. We present lessons in advance of most of our events; and occasional workshops for dancers and musicians. We welcome dancers of all ages and abilities, and our events are affordable to all.
