We are devoted to the overall wellness of emergency responders and their families. Our vision is to create a system of support that preserves pride, encourages reaching out, and cultivates a warrior's mindset with a calm, clear peace of mind, body, and heart.
Building Warriors is a safe place where the people understand what first responders see and do and the injuries that can come from that. For me, they saved my life by allowing me to finally see the injury and heal the injuries for the first time. I thought I had but with Building Warriors' help, I was able to bring out those injuries and put them to bed forever. I am forever grateful for her care and guidance.
Building Warriors is a peer run nonprofit organization devoted to the provision of wellness services and training for emergency responders and their families.
On June 20, 2018 Building Warriors, Inc. became a non-profit in order to seek public support and grant funding for crisis services, therapeutic trauma and marriage retreats, and training for agencies, individuals, and their families regardless of their ability to pay. As a nonprofit corporation, we are committed to continuing innovative, responder-informed services and training nationwide, operating on the foundation of honesty and integrity first.
