Testimonials

"I am so grateful for the experience that my daughter and I have had at (Boulder Valley Waldorf School). From Kindergarten through 8th grade I felt that my daughter was taken care of and honored for who she is. Beauty, creativity and heart are so important to me, and it was ever present in her education. The curriculum, and the attentiveness and mastery of the teachers far surpassed my expectations.

My daughter entered public high school with a confidence and comfort that even surprised me. She was well prepared to meet and experience a different way of learning. She felt that she transitioned far more easily than even those coming from other public schools. She now continually expresses gratitude for what she received at (Boulder Valley)- all of the wonderful class trips, the learning through art, movement, the Medieval Games, the Pentathlon, and recesses! I believe that the (Boulder Valley) education is truly extraordinary."

"While some are concerned with educating their children outside the mainstream, the values of the (Boulder Valley) approach do not come at the expense of learning to live in the world. Their values of patience, diligence, personal responsibility and the natural unfolding of children are the very strength of a program for preparing children to succeed in the world. They make possible the ingestion of a curriculum that is both challenging and rigorous. Children work hard in a caring community to develop tenacity, skills, tools and understanding that they can then use to succeed; in whatever culture they come to enter as adults.

I have heard countless stories of students leaving (Boulder Valley) and finding that they were more prepared than their fellow 9th grade classmates, and these stories came from students leaving (Boulder Valley) to enter other private schools, Waldorf schools and a variety of public schools."

"I can see the health of Waldorf Education in my children's bright eyes at the end of the school day and their growing confidence in their actions and the clarity in their speech."

"I have fallen in love with how fully my daughter's teacher enjoys and relishes each child in her classroom! She has seen it all and delights in differences! She appreciates the children in such a way that allows even their edges to be there; their quirks and idiosyncrasies are fully embraced along with their wisdom."

"The children learn respect for all life and the joy of connection to the land. I am ecstatic for my daughter to have such a haven in which to blossom-supported by an incredible staff and educational method. Every child is celebrated for who they really are. It's a dream come true."

"Public school was not meeting the needs of my son. i got an insert from the paper and called every private school in the area. Both my son and I fell in love with Boulder Valley Waldorf School. I felt the warmth, acceptance and a clear focus/vision from the school. From the administration to the classroom teachers - we have had a wonderful experience."
