Mission

The Boulder Seniors Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit organization, which works to enhance the quality of life for Boulder's older population through support of Boulder Senior Services and the Boulder Senior Centers. The Foundation provides funds to assist low-income seniors with emergency expenses and sponsors programs and sponsors programs of interest to all seniors. Through individual donations and bequests the Foundation provides a way to directly support the seniors in our community.

Background Statement

The Foundation was formed over 30 years ago with the main purpose of providing equipment and supplies to the (then) new Senior Centers. This function has greatly diminished over the intervening years, being replaced by serving as support for individual seniors who lack adequate funding and the introduction of programs of interest to all seniors. We wish to enlarge our target community.
