Testimonials
Grammy Award-winning vocalist Diane Reeves was a music student of Ms. Williams and attributes much of her success to her musical foundation in the spirituals. "As a young child, those songs were the songs I gravitated towards to keep me moving forward," Reeves says. "They give you strenght." (CPR News September 4, 2014). "When Ms. Reeves was 11 years old, her interest in music was enriched by the renowned Bennie Williams, founder of Bennie L. Willams Spiritual Voices, who became her mentor and piano teacher."(Denver Public Library, Article by Annie Nelson, October 2, 2016). The Spiritual Voices have been honored to sing with Ms. Reeves in concert.
