Mission Statement

Providing accessible, integrated, and inclusive behavioral health services supporting clients throughout the criminal justice system.

Organization History

Behavioral Treatment Services was founded as a substance abuse and mental health agency for criminal justice in March of 2014, after working as ICS for almost 10 years. In January 2015, BTS acquired the Center for Change in Boulder and Longmont and expanded services to further reach the communities of Colorado. BTS is an OBH (Office of Behavioral Health) licensed agency and is devoted and committed to providing quality clinical services to the criminal justice community. BTS primarily hires Master's level clinicians with specific training in addictions, mental health, and criminal justice issues. With about 50 staff, BTS provides a range of clinical services to five counties: Jefferson, Adams, Boulder, Weld, and El Paso. We strive to challenge and engage our clients to examine behaviors, beliefs, thoughts, and emotions in order to facilitate reaching goals and change.
