We believe that local faith communities, individuals and businesses are the keys to offering a counter-surge of care during these hard times in our world. We can do little in isolation, but together, we can change our nation for the better.
Testimonials
Over this last winter, there was a family in need asking for bunk beds for their two young foster boys. The family couldn't afford new beds and didn't know what to do. One of our volunteers answered the request from DHS and immediately came over to set up a brand new bunk bed that had been donated. while they were setting it up, the volunteers noticed that it was extremely cold in the house. The family in need couldn't afford to pay the heating bill so the volunteer wrote a check to the heating company for the next month so they could get their heat turned back on. The family was in tears because no one had ever cared for them like that before.
