Altitude Youth Ultimate

Altitude Youth Ultimate (AYU) promotes and supports youth ultimate frisbee in CO, via tournaments, leagues, camps and clinics. We're mostly volunteers and all non-profit. Donations help to sustain and grow this great, fun sport in CO for high schoolers and middle schoolers.

Mission Statement

Altitude Ultimate is a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to developing athletes and promoting youth participation in Ultimate Frisbee teams, leagues, tournaments, camps, and clinics across the Front Range, Colorado, and the Rocky Mountain West.

With a focus on equitable access and spirited play, Altitude Ultimate aims to foster opportunities to participate in all levels of competition; provide a clearinghouse of resources for coaches, players, parents, and fans; and serve as a stable, sustainable organization that grows and strengthens the ultimate community in the region.

Organization History

- Nov 5, 2014: Articles of Incorporation for Nonprofit Corp filed with the CO Sec of State.
- Jan 8, 2015: Assigned EIN by IRS (47-2670312).
- Feb 4, 2015: First board meeting, elected officers and approved by-laws, and started operations.
- Apr 2015: Had our first month of revenue, $15K+, running a youth state championship tournament.
- We've expanded our core event offerings continuously since 2015 -- tournaments, leagues, clinics and camps.
