Testimonials

I am so thankful for the Grace program and grateful they gather wonderful people to teach and mentor us. The grace of God is apparent. I have found a great job and living situation. My God given talents are serving me and others as I move forward with confidence. I am happier than I ever remember! I can focus on my career future without the panic and stress of being homeless and jobless. I want to pursue a Nursing degree so I'll be applying for scholarships and may need some tips. I know the mentors at Grace will be there for me!

Mission

A place where God's plans for a brighter future are revealed to women in crisis through a life skills and career training program.

Background Statement

In 2002, the Nash family formed a nonprofit organization called Mariah's Kids in memory of their daughter and sister Mariah to assist children with special needs by providing scholarships for equine, art or music therapy. This foundation later transformed into Freedom Reigns which is an equine therapy program serving at-risk teens, women in crisis and veterans in Northern Colorado. Through this interaction, the need for a program focused on women in crisis formulated to equip and empower them for brighter futures was formed. The lack of attainable long-term funding and dwindling resources in the philanthropic arena gave way to the original vision to create a self-sustainable collaborative social enterprise in which women could be mentored and prepared for solid careers and self-sustainability. Equine therapy is still a large part of the program and enhances their ability to overcome obstacles and gain courage.
