The Colorado Asian Pacific American Bar Foundation is organized to receive and administer funds for educational and charitable purposes including but not limited to the fostering of educational opportunities for the advancement and welfare of the Asian Pacific American communities in Colorado.

Background Statement

Founded in 1995 to further the charitable and educational efforts of the Asian Pacific American Bar Association of Colorado (APABA), the APABA Foundation donates thousands of dollars every year to worthy projects. Grantees include the entities serving the needs of Asian Pacific American community. The APABA Foundation also provides grants and scholarships to members of the Asian Pacific American Law Student Associations of the University of Denver Sturm College of Law and the University of Colorado School of Law, and has supported projects concerning diversity in the legal profession, and the introducing diverse high school students to local colleges. Since 2005, the APABA Foundation has donated over $460,000 to these and many other community organizations and projects.
