$80,000 Goal
This year, thanks to people like you, we’ve been able to:
Every dollar counts, truly.
On average, it costs about $350 to rescue, vet, and care for each animal. (That number changes depending on their size, medical needs, and how long they’re with us.)
Every bit helps chip away at that cost! Even $5 helps feed a pet for a day — one meal closer to the healthy, happy life they deserve.
Your support is what allows us to say “yes” to the next animal looking for a second chance.
We’re not backed by big corporations — we’re powered by love, community, and people like you.
The need for rescue has never been greater … and neither have the medical costs.
Our two biggest challenges right now are rising medical expenses and the growing number of animals who need our help.
Veterinary costs have skyrocketed, with spay/neuter procedures now averaging $180 each, and annual medical expenses projected to exceed $150,000. At the same time, we’re seeing more animals than ever in need of rescue, medical care, and safe homes.
While we’re proud to have saved nearly 1,000 lives this year thanks to our incredible community, there are still so many others waiting for their chance.
That’s why your support matters so much. Every dollar you give helps us say “yes” to the next animal who needs us — and keeps our life-saving work going strong.
At 4P4L, our mission has always been about serving animals and the people who love them.
We are proud to say Colorado is a state full of animal lovers! With that support and love, we’re able to extend that compassion to the shelters that need us the most – due to high euthansia and intake rates.
(Did you know that nearly 920,000 shelter animals are euthanized each year? This number is real. And it breaks our hearts.)
We rescue animals from these overcrowded shelters and challenging conditions, giving them a second chance to heal, grow, and find homes right here in Colorado.
What started as a dream in 2012 has become 18,000+ miracles. 18,000+ hearts that learned to trust again. 18,000+ families forever changed
4 Paws 4 Life began with four passionate women determined to save animals in need. Over time, that small dream grew into a powerful community of volunteers, adopters, and supporters — all united by the same mission: to rescue, heal, and rehome as many animals as possible.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for being part of this story — and for helping us write the next chapter.
Alongside our rescue program, we provide pet boarding services at our facility! Your pets are cared for by the same team that looks after our rescues every day.
Every boarding stay directly supports our mission and goes directly into helping fund medical care, food, and shelter for animals in need.
It’s a way to get trusted care for your own pets, while giving back to others still waiting for their forever homes.
Every adoption, donation, and boarding stay helps us continue the work we’ve dedicated our lives to. Because to us, every animal matters.
Our mission is simple, yet profound: to save animals from a life of abuse, neglect and death in kill shelters and commercial breeding facilities, and find homes for them with loving humans that will add value to their lives.
Established in 2012, 4 Paws 4 Life Rescue & Boarding is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization passionately committed to rescuing dogs from high-kill shelters across the country. Based in the metro Denver area, we work through a dedicated network of foster homes and our facility in Sedalia, CO.
Our mission is fueled by generous tax-deductible donations from kind-hearted individuals who believe in our cause. Together, we champion the rights of our voiceless furry companions, making a lasting difference in their lives.
