Title 1 schools in Colorado – where 75% or more of students come from historically under-resourced communities – are far less likely to have the opportunity to experience outdoor education. The biggest barrier? Transportation. A bus ride to 100 Elk costs $100 per student.

The mission of the 100 Elk Outdoor Center (100 Elk) is to "Reveal the Possibilities Within." Our activities focus on team building, personal growth, and encouraging effective communication while fostering an individual connection with the outdoors.
The 100 Elk Outdoor Center was established in 2001 as a secular outdoor education and character-building program of Adventure Unlimited. Our purpose is to foster an environment where participants feel loved and valued, while making authentic choices for themselves, utilizing the "Challenge with Choice" principle.
