I love fly fishing. It is a hobby that has taken me to some of the most beautiful places in the country, from the shadow of El Capitan in Yosemite to the isolated wilderness of central Montana. Yet my favorite spots remain in northeast Iowa, the Driftless where I first learned the craft. It's wild to think that tucked amongst cornfields and cow pastures are idyllic streams and stunning fish.
