Move for PSC

Christmas 2016, Timothy received the disturbing news that he was facing the lifelong challenge of Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis, a liver-destroying disease that often leads to a liver transplant, associated digestive problems, and related medical concerns. 

Soon after, we discovered PSC Partners which was in its infancy. It is a patient-run advocacy group encouraging research into this rare and poorly understood affliction. Over the last 21 years, the research instigated by PSC Partners has discovered several hopeful pathways for the treatment of symptoms and the delay of the need for a transplant.

For the fifth year, I'm helping to raise $190,000 in total for PSC research through this grassroots appeal. 100% of your donation goes to research bringing us closer to better treatments and brighter futures for PSC patients. Also as a new twist this year, Timothy is matching $1 to $1 of my total raised (my goal = $20,083.01) with up to $20,000!
