Dance is both an art and a sport. At Pagosa Springs Dance Academy, the community dance program of Expressions School of the Arts, Inc., we believe every child deserves the opportunity to experience the lifelong benefits of dance. Through dance, students develop strength, coordination, flexibility, discipline, perseverance, teamwork, and confidence while discovering creativity, self-expression, and a lifelong appreciation for the performing arts. These are skills and experiences that help our dancers thrive both on and off the stage.
As a nonprofit organization serving the youth of Archuleta County, we are committed to providing exceptional dance education while keeping our programs accessible, affordable, and enriching for local families. Your support helps us remove financial barriers, enhance the quality of our programming, and provide meaningful opportunities for young dancers to learn, train, perform, and grow. Donations strengthen our program in three key areas:
Scholarships help ensure children have access to dance regardless of financial circumstances.
Performance Costs help make performances possible by supporting costumes, venue rentals, production expenses, and other performance-related needs. Performances give our dancers something to strive for throughout the season and an opportunity to celebrate and share how they've grown through dedication, hard work, and dance.
Studio Equipment helps provide training equipment, curriculum resources, and other program needs that support safe, effective, and high-quality dance education.
