Dave & Brook Portman Kiss-n-Squeal For YouthZone

What in the world is this? Well, the Kiss-n-Squeal began in 1991 and with just $2,708 raised in 1991, this quirky event raised more than $1.3 million over its 20 years tenure. In honor of YouthZone’s 50th Anniversary, it is back and oinkier than ever!

The campaign will launch on Friday, March 27th, 2026. Candidates (that's us) will campaign for votes during the five-week fundraising period. Each dollar raised is equal to one vote. The candidate with the most votes earns the honor of kissing a real pig (that's Dave) at the Gala on May 1st at the Hotel Colorado . We are incredibly passionate about the work YouthZone provides to families navigating substance and other mental health challenges. After serving on the Board for 6 years (two at Board President), Dave is now term limited. What would be a better way to go out with a bang than raising $24,000 for this critical, community non-profit organization? That is a lot of slop. But we need you. So let's squeal.
