Santulan Architecture is pleased to take part in Canstruction Colorado 2026  to support the Denver-based nonprofit, We Don't Waste! Please consider making a donation today to help We Don't Waste protect our planet from food waste and nourish our community through food recovery and food access! About Canstruction Colorado

Canstruction® Colorado is a city-wide competition in which architects and designers build structures entirely out of canned food, which will be donated to We Don’t Waste and distributed to local communities at the end of the exhibit. Teams are competing for awards for their structures, such as “Structural Ingenuity”, “Most Cans Used”, “People’s Choice”, and more!

Canstruction® will be on public display at Cherry Creek Shopping Center in the Grand Court, which is on the first floor of the shopping center outside of Neiman Marcus. The structures will be displayed from June 29th through the end of July! Guests are encouraged to check out the structures in person, complete the scavenger hunt, and vote for their favorite structure!

About We Don't Waste

We Don’t Waste believes nutritious food should go to people, not landfills. We reduce food insecurity and food waste in the Denver area by recovering quality, unused food from the food industry and delivering it free of charge to food pantries, schools, shelters, and directly to the community through Mobile Food Markets. We also educate our community on the importance of nutrition and reducing food waste to protect our planet, while advocating for increased food access. Since 2009, We Don’t Waste has recovered and distributed more than 260 million servings of food to nonprofit partners and individuals facing food insecurity.
