Parent Possible - Kyle Clark's Word of Thanks

We’re thrilled to be featured as part of Kyle Clark's Word of Thanks micro-giving campaign!

For more than 30 years, Parent Possible has helped Colorado parents become their child's first and most important teacher.

We believe every parent wants the best for their child, and that when they have the support and resources they need, their children will thrive.

Parent Possible partners will community groups that connect parents with home visitors – people in their community who build trust, answer questions, connect them to resources and provide support right in the home. Decades of research prove that it works. These programs improve outcomes for both parents and their children.

Parent Possible supports community sites delivering:

• Parents as Teachers (PAT) program, for families from pregnancy through kindergarten;
• Home Instruction for Parents of Preschool Youngsters (HIPPY), for families with children aged two through kindergarten.

We help home visitors manage stress and trauma through mental health consultation, mindfulness support and trauma informed training and consultation.

Parent Possible promotes Vroom, a program that gives parents simple tips and ideas for talking and playing with their kids in ways that build their brains. We work with more than 200 partners across the state to make these free tips accessible and available to parents.

Our Impact in 2024-25:

• 2,102 Colorado children served across PAT and HIPPY
• 29,147 home visits delivered
• 25,000+ parents reached through Vroom partners
• 186 home visitors and supervisors supported

So much of this work happens quietly, behind the scenes, but its impact lasts a lifetime. When we prepare a parent, we prepare a child for a limitless future. These investments ripple out through the generations.
