Help children in CO start their reading journey!

Everyone remembers the magic of their first favorite book — the story that made them fall in love with reading, or the moment someone special read aloud to them.  Your first book helped shape who you are. Now, you can give that gift to a new generation.

As a board member at this amazing organization, I get to see the impact firsthand. Join me to help Colorado kids fall in love with reading and join Reach Out and Read Colorado this Colorado Gives Day to promote early literacy, family connectivity, and a joy of reading for the kids in your community. Reading aloud with a loved one in the early years prepares a child for a lifetime of success. 

Reading aloud together can change everything – 

• $1,000 provides families with books & literacy guidance at 150 well-child visits this year
• $300 provides families with books & literacy guidance at 45 well-child visits this year
• $150 provides families with books & literacy guidance at 23 well-child visits this year
• $85 supports one child’s entire Reach Out and Read journey, from birth to age 5
• $25 provides families with books & literacy guidance at 4 well-child visits this year
