Through the power of sports, Special Olympics CO is the driving force for inclusion and equity for children and adults with intellectual disabilities (athletes).
Our DPR Special Olympic teams are based out of Denver and compete in 3-5 sports each season.
It costs Special Olympics CO $265 for one athlete to participate in programming each year. Programs like year-round sports, training, competitions, health screenings, and leadership opportunities. All are provided at low costs to the athletes or their families and powered by donor support.
