DIFRC Board Fundraiser — Native Families Together

Native families belong together. That belief is the foundation of everything the Denver Indian Family Resource Center does — and it's why the DIFRC Board is asking you to give.

Across the Denver metro, American Indian and Alaska Native families navigate systems that were never built for them. Child welfare. Housing. Healthcare. Schools. Too often, the outcome is separation — children removed from parents, families pulled away from community, generations disconnected from language, ceremony, and each other. That history is not distant. It is still being written.

DIFRC exists to write a different ending. Through culturally grounded case management, ICWA advocacy, parent support, and community wellness programs, DIFRC helps families stay together and stay connected to who they are. The work is led by Native people, rooted in Native values, and accountable to the community it serves.

As board members, we don't just govern this organization — we stand behind it with our own resources and our own relationships. This fundraiser is our collective ask. Each of us is reaching out to the people who trust us, because we know what this work makes possible.

• Indian Child Welfare Act (ICWA) advocacy for families in the system
